What's The Matter In Your Eye?
What's The Matter In Your Eye?
It's Too Hard For You To See
The Bible Says To Judge
(John 7:24; Eph. 5:11)
But To Judge Righteously
You Should First See Things Clearly
Can't See For That Log
Something Big In Your Eye
Get It Out With Some Balm
Though You Think You're Just All Right With The Son.
Know He's At Your Door Each Night And Hurls On The Side
No One's Perfect, Except For One
(Isaiah 1:4-7; 53)
Just Forget What's Behind And Press On For The Prize
What's The Matter With Your Light?
You're Impossible To View
As You're Walking In The Night
Lest You Grin And Show Your Tooth
You Should Be Speaking For God's Son
Gained The World Lost Your Soul
Someone You Chose To Shun.
The One Who Died And Rose
(2 Cor. 5:14, 15)
I don't know why You Walk Without His Light.
But Now He's Still Knocking, And Is Behind That Door.
'I Hope It Doesn't Take The Rest Of Your Life'
Before You Know The Pierced One, And Desire More.
'In The Middle Of The Night'
You're Even Harder To See
In A Spiritual Drought
In A Ministry Heap.
You Should Be Fighting For God's Son.
Someone So Misdefined
(2 Cor. 11:1-15)
By Those That Think They Know Him
By Those That Think They're Not Blind.
What's The Matter In Your Eye?
Not Sure About Your Place In God's Big Plan?
I Know You've Never Been A Perfect Man.
That's Not What He's Askin, Before Table Turnin Begins, In Happy Christian Land.
Wipe The Matter From Your Eyes
So You Can Rectify
Sawdust Won't Impeach
Paul Of Sinners Was Chief
(1 Cor. 15: 9, 10 ;1 Tim. 1:15)
But Was Set To Judge And Teach
To STRUGGLE And Press On.
But Not Doing Their Wrongs
While Correcting Their Songs
In The Middle Of A Fight.

If I Counted The Times People Have Claimed That A Christian Cannot Speak Up And Out
Against Sin And Heresy Until They Were Perfect, I Would Be A Billionaire.
Their Favorite Verse Is 'Judge Not Lest You Be Judged.' (Luke 6)
I've Heard Unbelievers Even Use This Verse And This Is Probably The Only Verse They
Know By Heart.
The Chapter Goes On To Say:
"Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will
not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. 38
Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your
lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." 39 He also told them this parable: "Can a blind man lead a blind man? Will they not both fall into a pit? 40 A student is not above his teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like his
teacher. 41 "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust
in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 42 How can you say to your brother, 'Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,' when you yourself
fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first
take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye. 43 "No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. 44 Each tree is recognized by its own fruit. "
Notice It Doesn't Say Get The Speck Out Of Your Eye Before You Try To Get the Log Out
Of Others, It Says Get The Log/Plank Out Of Your Eye Before You Try To Get The Speck Out Of Theirs.
So Those That Are Judging Those Who Have Much Less To Feel Condemned About Are What
This Is Talking About.
This Is Like An Alcoholic Condemning A Person That Has One Drink.
At The Least Don't Do What You Are Condemning. (Romans 2:21), If You Are, Don't Stop
Preaching, Stop Practicing This Sin.
Other Verses These One Verse Wonders Ought To Be Aware Of Is:
"If a man receiveth circumcision on the sabbath, that the law of Moses may not
be broken; are ye wroth with me, because I made a man every whit whole on the sabbath? 24 Judge not according to appearance, but judge righteous judgment." (John 7:24)
Jesus Tells The Jews Here To Make A Judgment Not Based On Appearance But On Righteousness,
So If Jesus Was Condemning Judgment Altogether This Would Be A Contradiction Of What He Said.
Here It Says That Superficial Judgment Is Wrong But Righteous Judgment Is Good.
The Same Chapter That Talks About Judgment Says:
'You Shall Know Them By Their Fruit.' (Luke 6)
So Waiting For Perfection Is Not Grounds For Being An Undercover Christian.
Above Is An Example Of A Half Truth That The World Promotes, But I Gave You The Rrrrest
Of The Story. Down Below Are Some More Half Truths That The World Uses.
Cookies Cut From Cookie Cutters Can Be Enticing And Tasty. However, Those That Use Improper
Cookie Cutters With Scripture Always Have Leftover Dough.
When Ignoring Or Discarding All The Leftover Dough, The Result

Nutshell: Missed The Rrrrrrrest Of The Story.
21) Think The End Came In A.D. 70 But Cannot Adequately Explain The Anticlimactic, Less

A Conversation I Had With A Brian On Judging. Later I Found Out He Was A Follower Of William
Branham, Which Revealed To Me Why He Was So Against Judging.
Brian, I Want To Respond To Each Comment And Scripture
You Gave In Your Last Posts.
Galatians 5:6 Amplified Bible (AMP)
6 For [if we are] in Christ
Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith activated and energized and expressed and
working through love...he that is among you without sin, let him cast the first stone...
Verses Here. Love Is How God Defines It, Not How We Define It, So One Cannot Define Love As The Line Of Least Resistance,
Then Condemn Those That Don't Fit That Wrong Definition. We Both Agree That Love Is The Way, But Jesus Overturned Tables In
The Temple, And That Was Love Too.
I Never Said I Was Going To Punish Anyone Or Stone Anyone, So The Latter Verse
Doesn't Apply To What I'm Doing. In Order For People To Need A Saviour, They Must See Their Need To Be Saved From Their Sins.
Savior=One That Rescues One From His Or Her Sin.
Kirk Cameron And Ray Comfort And TheWayOfTheMaster.com Evangelize
By Going Out And Asking Folks How They Stack Up According To The Law, Then They Present The Saviour.
The First Step
Of Salvation Is Acknowleding That One Is A Sinner (1 Jn. 1:8,9)
Romans 2:1-3 New King James Version
(NKJV) God’s Righteous Judgment
2 Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever
you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things. 2 But we know that the judgment of God
is according to truth against those who practice such things. 3 And do you think this, O man, you who judge those practicing
such things, and doing the same, that you will escape the judgment of God?
In The First Three Chapters
Of Romans, Paul Is Showing Prior To Christ, The Sinfulness Of All. According To You, That Would Be Judging. So Again, Paul,
Is Not Heeding His Own Advice, If Judging Is Calling A Spade A Spade. Here Paul Is Condemning Those That Are Hypocrites, Who
Do The Same Things They Are Condemning. It Is Ridiculous For Anyone To Assume That Everyone Who Condemns (Including Paul),
Is Doing The Same Sin That They Are Condemning In Others.
Paul Is Not Saying This, He's Saying To,
take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye." (Luke 6:42b)
Jesus Is Saying What To Do Before You Judge, Not That One Should Never Judge.
In Fact He Is Giving The Steps So That
This Person Can Judge.
I Answer Folks Arguments In This Area In A Song I Did Called:
What's The Matter In Your
Eye, To The Tune 'In The Middle Of The Night' By Billy Joel:
James 4:10-12 New King James Version (NKJV)
10 Humble yourselves in
the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.
Do Not Judge a Brother
11 Do not speak evil of one another,
brethren. He who speaks evil of a brother and judges his brother, speaks evil of the law and judges the law. But if you judge
the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. 12 There is one Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. Who[b] are
you to judge another?
Originally Brian You Said We Should Judge Those In The Church But Not On The Outside,
Now You're Telling Me We Shouldn't Judge Our Brothers Either?
Which One Is It?
My NIV Says It This Way:
Brothers, do not SLANDER one another. Anyone who speaks against his brother or judges him speaks against the law and judges
it. When you judge the law, YOU ARE NOT KEEPING IT, but sitting in judgment on it. 12 There is only one Lawgiver and Judge,
the one who is able to save and destroy. But you--who are you to judge your neighbor?" (James 4)
Here James is Speaking
To 'Those Under The Law' i.e. Jews And Condemning Them For 'Slandering' Their Jewish Brothers. Slander Is Saying Something
About Someone That Isn't True. Also James Again Points Out That They Are Doing What They Are Condemning In Others. Anyone
Who Judges Isn't Necessarily Doing What They Are Condemning. That Would Be An Assumption On Our Parts. In Fact It's A Wrong
'Judgment' To Assume Such A Thing, And The Bible Does Condemn Those Making Wrong Judgments, i.e. 'Superficial Judgments' (Jn.
This is the heart that God wants from us, His love He shed abroad in our hearts that leads
us to -
Agape Love (The God Kind Of Love) desires continual reconciliation; never holds account a wrong suffered; forgives
70 times 7; loves enemies; does good to those that use and abuse; looks unto others as better; is not arrogant or rude; is
not selfish; rejoices in truth; meets others needs; goes the extra mile; believes all things; bears all things; endures all
things; hopes all things; and never fails…imitating God unto (Perfection and Maturity)...Ephesians 5:1-2, imitate God
and Love each other as Christ Loves the Church...
Love As Christ Loves The Church?
The Church (Rev. 1-3)
"Rejoices In the Truth..." (1 Cor. 13)
God Doesn't Call Us To Following The Lion Of Least
Resistance. Jesus Judged, Paul Judged, And Whenever They Spoke Out Against It Was When Someone Was Hypocritically Judging,
Or When Judgment In Context Means 'Punishment' And That Is Not The Kind Of Judging I'm Speaking Of. I'm Not Stoning Anyone,
Just Doing What God Commands.
"11 Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather EXPOSE THEM."
