Hills Relatively Speaking And Of Course Gullible Folks Are Going To Buy Into This Counterfeit Gospel Which Makes God Our Butler
And His Main Concern Our Comfort While We Are Here. I'm Covering A Broad Spectrum Here, So If Some Of This Doesn't Apply To
A Particular Person Or Organization Then The Rest Shouldn't Be Thrown Out With The Bath Water.

Note 'As Gods' Not Gods In The Most Important
Sense....Omniscience, Omnipotence, Omnipresence, Eternal Preexistence, Coequal, Infinite Wisdom..In Other Words, Most Ways
That Matter.
God Said:

What Made man Like God Here?

Then What About The Following Verses:
"I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children
of the most High. 7 But ye shall die

Over Twenty Years Ago After A Conversation With One Of My
Aunts About The 'Other Jesus' (2 Cor. 11) Of Another Aunt And Uncle Of Mine And While Walking Out The Door, My Aunt Retorted
With:
Doesn't The Bible Say: "Ye Are Gods"
This Verse Is Misapplied And Taken Out Of Context About As
Much As The Verse About Not Judging.
This Misapplication Is Often Used To Either Diminish Christ
Or To Raise Us To His Level, So As To Make His Claims Not So Unique And In Effect Making His Finished Work Not So Complete,
And Human Works Necessary To Finish The Job. (Acts 20:28; Hebrews 10:12)
This Is Why Those That Water Down Who Christ Is Also Believe
We Must Supplement Christ's Finished Work With Our Own Works Because 'Jesus Wasn't Uniquely God The Son, So His Sacrifice
Wasn't Enough'.
"For it is axiomatic that if the doctrine of Christ Himself, i.e., His Person [which includes His being the second
person of the Trinity] nature and work are perverted, then the identity of the life-giver is altered, then the life which

But What Do These Verses About 'gods' Mean?
First, It Is Important To Note Some Important Details.
One Point Is That It Doesn't Say, 'Ye Are Gods' It Says, "I
Said, Ye Are gods"
Next, The Reference In Psalms Puts A Semicolon After "I Said,
Ye Are Gods;' Then In The Next Phrase It Clarifies The Previous Phrase Which Is The Function Of A Semicolon:, With "And Children
Of The Most High."
So Was This Psalm Calling Us gods i.e., Little Deities, Or
Calling Us Children Of The Most High i.e., gods (possessive) Meaning God's Own.
I Would Say The Latter.
If Someone Looked At My Mom And Her Children And Asked, 'Whose
Are These? I Would Answer With, 'They Are Mothers'.
Not Meaning They Were A Bunch Of Mothers But Belonged To Mother.
Jesus Appears To Verify This When After Saying ...."I Said
Ye Are gods....He Speaks Of His Sonship Which Existed 'Before The Foundation Of The World', In Contast To Ours With, 'Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent
into the world.', And Ours Which Is By Adoption; 'unto
whom the word of God came',
"For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of
adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of
God:" (Romans 8)
He Is Emphasizing Our Adoption By The Most High, Belonging
To God And Being sons Of God Not Us Being Little Deities.
Heretics Like The JW's That Believe That Our Sonship Is Not
Much Different Than Christs Are Sadly Mistaken. Christ Isn't 'a god' Or 'a son' He Is Almighty God From All Eternity. (Isaiah
48:12-16; Genesis 1:26,27; Psalm 45:6ff)
Scriptures Never Speak Of Me Existing From All Eternity Or
Anyone Existing From All Eternity Other Than The Father, Word And Holy Spirit.
"12 Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called;
I am he; I am the first, I also am the last. 13 Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth,
and my right hand hath spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together. ...15 I, even I,
have spoken; yea, I have called him: I have brought him, and he shall make his way prosperous. 16 Come ye near unto me, hear
ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, 1) there am I: and now the 2)

Notice The Three Beings Here And How They Are Described.
Not Three Gods, Three Persons One God Because Scripture Teaches
That There Is Only One God.
Notice These Three Persons Possess Divine Qualities And Don't
Just Exist.

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through
the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious
promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through
lust."
But For The Sake Of Argument Let Us Suppose Jesus Was Saying
Little Deities When He Said 'gods'." (2 Peter 1)
We Can Only Be Partakers Of 'The Divine Nature' To The Degree
We Are In Christ The Eternally And Divinely Preexistent One. (Proverbs 8:22-31)
If We Step Out Of Christ, We No Longer Have The Divine Nature,
So Whose Nature Is Being Spoken Of Here, His Or Ours.
"
For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. 10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all
principality and power:" (Colossians 2:9,10)
If We Are Gods By Our Nature, We Would Then Have To Explain
How This Interpretation Fits With The Scripture Teaching One God, Also Teaching Three Persons That Are Claiming To Be That
One God.

Being A Child Of God, Inheriting His Riches, Doesn't Make

How Can One Be God Or a god, When Scripture Teaches One God
(Isaiah 43:10; 44:6; 45:22) And When The 'gods'
Spoken In Context 'Know Nothing' (Ps. 82:5), Are Only 'As gods' In The Sense
Of 'Knowing Good And Evil' Or Are In Rebellion To God. (John 10; Ps. 82), And Not Possessing Omniscience, Omnipotence Or Omnipresence
Or Preexistence?
The Answer Is That They Cannot Be.
Saying That We Are 'gods' By Being In Him Proves My Point
That 'Ye Are gods' Means You Belong To God Or Are In Him Thus The Divine Nature Is Christ's Nature Not Ours.
"For In Him Dwelleth The Godhead Bodily, And Ye Are Complete
In Him." (Colossians 2:9,10)
There Are No Scriptures That Say We Evolve Into Godhood As
Some Mormons Say.
"As Man Is God Once Was, As God Is Man May Become." Mormon
Theology.
Even The Book Of Mormon Contradicts Their Own Beliefs When
It Says:
"For I Know That God Is Not A Partial God, Neither A
Changeable Being; But He Is Changeable From All Eternity To All Eternity." (Moroni 8:18)
This Tells Us That They Know What 'All Eternity To All Eternity'
Means And Therefore This Verse Confirms Scripture In The Bible Which Says:
"From Everlasting (Eternity) To Everlasting Thou Art
God." (Psalm 90:2)
Not Just A Unchangeable Being From All Eternity But An Unchangeable
God.
It Appears That Things Really Devolved After The Book Of Mormon,
Not That The BOM Is Perfect.
The Ones That Are 'gods' Spoken Of In Psalm 82 And John Ten
Have Rejected God And Therefore Cannot Be 'In Him.' So gods Is Possessive Not Speaking Of A Divine Nature Outside Of
God.
Being One With Each Other And The Triune God Doesn't Make
Us gods Anymore Than Being One With My Wife Makes Me My Wife.
Many Folks Out There Misunderstand 'Oneness' And Even Deny

And Even Shown From The Mormons Own Book That God Doesn't
Change Or Evolve. (Moroni 8:18)
Men Change, Men Wear Away, God And His Word Is Forever.
Men Have Bodies That Get Old And Die, God (The Father) Is
Spirit So We Must Worship Him In Spirit And Truth. (John 4:24), God The Son Possesses A Glorified Body.
"Now Ammon Being Wise, Yet Harmless, He Said Unto Lamont:

After Saying 'The Great Spirit' Would Be Contradicting Itself.

"God The Son Says A Spirit Doesn't Have Flesh And Bones As

After Thomas Sees God The Son In His Resurrected Body (Not
Yet Glorified), 'He Says Unto Him, My Lord And My God.'
This Doesn't Prove Two Gods, This Proves At Least Two Persons
That Are That One God...Father And Son.

Even Know The Definition. These Folks Often Are Thinking Of Modalism Or Tritheism.
The Triunity Of God Is NOT Three Gods Or Three Manifestations

Concerning salvation the scriptures say:

Our SOULS are saved/sanctified when we receive the word and

Now if you don't understand or are apathetic toward the Triunity
